I’m Carrie, the certified licensed inspector and owner of Vantage Home Inspections. I am passionate about homes and the significance they hold. After I purchased my first home, I really dug into the building science and systems of homes, working on everything in the home and learning as much as possible about home systems and components. I believe providing home owners with a thorough and educative report of their home is a very valuable component to the home buying process and you deserve to have a knowledgeable and experienced home inspector. I am certified through two nationally recognized training institutes; InterNachi and ATI. Certified Commercial Inspector through Certified Commercial Property Inspectors Association. I empathize with the ‘almost dreaded’ anticipation of the home inspector’s findings; let’s face it, it can be scary. But with an informative report and guidance, that process doesn’t have to be as daunting. I chose Carrie after researching several inspection companies. Her pricing was easy to understand and extremely fair, and her website was thorough and straightforward. Her work proved to be the same. She detailed everything she looked at with clear pictures, videos and a written explanation. I chose to have the termite and air quality (mold) tests done in addition to basic inspection, and all services were done well. All of these things were very easy to understand. She was punctual and friendly. I received the written report very promptly. My favorite part was how well she itemized things of importance with care and calmness, in addition to things that needed to be brought to my attention, but weren't catastrophes. She did this in writing and a thorough walk through. I'm buying a 100+ year old house and her demeanor and knowledge helped me see things objectively. She is very calm and clear. She gives several phone numbers at the end of her report of people in the industry that may be of help, such as roofing companies, etc. I had a question after the inspection and she responded immediately.
