James Jones brings nearly 30 years of experience in commercial property inspections, environmental testing, and construction to every project. As the founder of Home & Commercial Inspections LLC, he is widely trusted across Ohio for delivering precise, defensible inspections that support confident real estate and risk-management decisions. James holds an Associate of Science in Construction Management and spent more than a decade as a commercial builder, master carpenter, estimator, and project manager, giving him uncommon, hands-on insight into how buildings are designed, constructed, and fail. His inspections include in-depth evaluations of structural systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and life-safety components, as well as environmental hazards such as asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, radon, and indoor air quality. He is a Certified Master Inspector, ASTM E2018 Property Condition Assessment (PCA) Commercial Inspector, and a Board Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), where he helps advance industry standards and best practices. Reviewed on May 4, 2026Chuck was ABSOLUTELY hands down the best. I had a lot of fear and skeptic regarding this process and whether they were really going to provide me with a thorough inspection. It took hours and when I say he looked at EVERY nook at cranny, it was impressive. It probably would have been a lot shorter if I had not kept stopping him and asking so many questions, but he stopped every time and answered with a smile~ he was SO through, informative but really kind but is customer service skills is what stood out the mood. Not once did he get frustrated with me. Thank you so much Chuck!!!
