Rosie Inspections
The only girl growing up in a sea of four brothers, our owner and Inspector in Chief, Kari “Rosie” Cheek, has been a tough cookie her entire life. A homeschooled, Methodist pastor’s daughter, she received her B.A. degree in English from the University of Kentucky in 2008, after which she ventured out into the world of building and rehabbing houses through AmeriCorps NCCC, serving people through non-profits throughout the southern region of the United States. Upon going through the process of purchasing her first home (a real fixer upper!), she was inspired to study up and pursue a career as a Home Inspector, having always been something of a building science geek. After obtaining her KY Home Inspector’s license and establishing Rosie Home Inspections in 2014, Kari has made it her goal to go above and beyond for each of her clients, providing them with an extensive array of information about their prospective home, and making sure they understood each deficiency and its implication in a photo based format. Over the years, Kari has dedicated herself to the study of building science, adding an arsenal of knowledge and certifications to better serve her clients, including radon and mold testing, WDI (wood destroying insect) identification, and commercial property analysis.

Called Rosie Home Inspections after doing some research on some local inspectors. Everyone you talk to is super friendly and we loved that it was a small business. From the very beginning you could tell that it was going to be a great experience, from setting up the appointment, meeting Kari on site, and following up with questions after the inspection, the whole experience was a 10/10. Don't look any further than Kari and her team!
Thanks, Chris!
