GSI exceeds the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) Standards of Practice (SOP) on every inspection we perform. The minimum requirements do not scratch the surface of what most potential home buyers want to know about their investment. Commonly referred to as a Termite Inspection, these inspections cover multiple different insects that can wreak havoc on the wood components of a home. Required for VA Loans, same-day reporting.

Going above and beyond the state Standards of Practice, we perform our septic inspections by actually digging and opening the lids. Something a LOT of home inspectors do NOT do, because the state standards say they don't HAVE to. Beware... a flow test is NOT a septic inspection.

Shannon was able to reschedule my inspection for the next business day due to a holiday, which helped keep me on track for closing. The inspection report was thorough and he received compliments from the builder as well in terms of detail and explanations for faults in the report. Will use GSI again for my one year inspection.
